Our coaches will challenge you to your best abilities and provide you with 1 on 1 attention while in a group class so you have more drive and motivation to be your best. health problems which lead to another round of weight gain of 25 lbs. Something had to give, she was 35 at the time and struggling with her new body. She started with her Transform product and lost 25 lbs and 7% body fat in 6 short weeks. After she had done this, she was nominated for Ms. Health and Fitness, and made Top 5 in her group!! It was an amazing accomplishment. Coach Lv continues and has a passion to help men and women with their fitness and nutrition journey. She will meet YOU where YOU are and inspire YOU to be YOUR best. Her mission in life is help others Be Strong, Be Courageous, Be BUILT.
During Will’s time in the special operations community, he tried many different workout routines in search of the best fitness regimen for the “tactical athlete”. Will realized one day, during a training mission, that the “tri-athlete fitness” routines he was used to doing, were not serving him well in his assigned profession. Although Will could move long distances quickly, he lacked the explosive strength to lift and firemen’s carry a 230lb teammate, with a simulated wound, covered in body armor, from the living room of a house to an awaiting medevac vehicle outside. Thus, began Will’s relationship with Crossfit.
In mid 2006, Will participated in his first Crossfit workout, with a few of his teammates and instantly realized that Crossfit was the exact type of fitness regimen he’d been searching for. CrossFit’s programming of constantly varied, functional movement and consistantly striving for workouts that are, broad, general and inclusive make up a fitness regimen that is not only perfect for the tactical athlete but the average person trying to achieve lifelong fitness habits. Within a few short weeks of doing CrossFit, Will immediately began to see results; a stark contrast to other fitness programs he has done in the past. Will was not only becoming stronger, but also becoming faster, harder, and more explosive, all of which are invaluable tools for a special operator. In 2008, Will attended the Crossfit Level 1 trainer Course, where he became a certified Crossfit instructor and spent the next couple of years training and instructing special operations and infantry personnel from all branches of service.
In 2009, Will married LV and introduced her to CrossFit. After 8 years of service, he transitioned from the military to public service. Will and Lv now have a son and look forward to his future growing up with the Built ATX community.
… (now wife) to make Arlin decide it was time to hit the gym. He tried the standard weightlifting regime of segmented body parts on specific days ad nauseam. His brother and sister-in-law bought him a 3-month membership for a CrossFit gym in Lubbock. Arlin was hooked.
4 years, 55 pounds, and several biomarkers later and Arlin is still loving the CrossFit methodology. Arlin has his CF-L1 and is also working on earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine. Arlin is married to his high school sweetheart, Mandi, and has an adorable daughter, Ava. He said he must continue getting after it to get bigger, faster, and stronger so that he can ward off potential suitors for Ava as she gets older. Arlin believes that movement is the best and most underutilized medicine in the world. He has a passion for helping others around him get better and wants to help you achieve your goals!
She has always loved fitness and nutrition and has taught herself how to live a healthier life which inspired her to become a Trainer and Nutrition Specialist so she can help others do the same. She loves helping people unleash physical and mental strength they never thought they had. She loves the community at BUILT. She loves that we encourage, challenge, and celebrate each other though the ups and downs of our health and fitness journey. She also loves that we get to meet people where they are currently at through their journey. BUILT is about building a better you! Tashina also has an awesome Veteran Boyfriend, and two cute dogs Rae and Rocco! You can catch her on a hike or a doggie park taking care of her babies.
